This is me

This is me. Crazy enough to start an analog journey in 2020 in a small town in Lower Austria. But who wouldn’t dare if you have your Dad by your side, right? 

Starting the journey is probably not the right thing to say. My Dad started a photo lab 20 years ago - being told not only once that it is crazy. Well, you could say that runs in the family but you got to do what you got to do. 

And way before that we have „a thing“ for capturing memories by the means of photography. Be it my Granddad capturing the childhood of his four kids with the most beautiful black and white photography. Or my mum doing the same - drowning the storage room with childhood photographs of me and my two sisters. The only difference my mum does not argue about: we MUST smile on pictures. ALWAYS. But you know what: I smile most of my day and who knows - maybe this is also one of the reasons. And I take it. 

I am photographer. I am a lab owner. I am a mother and wife and I am in love with the clicking sound of an old camera, being off-screen and the grain of analog film. If I have a bad moment or in doubt I zoom into an analog scan and life is good again.
